WHY: Shoulder work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 27, 2025, WCRC will start performing shoulder work on Dexter-Chelsea Rd between Savannah Ln and Freer Rd in the Chelsea City Limits.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures and lane restrictions. Motorists traveling through the work zone may wish to consider an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one week to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
