WHERE: Several roads in Lyndon Township (See roads below)
WHY: Crack seal
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 9, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin crack sealing several roads in Lyndon Township:
- Werkner Rd between Island Lake Rd and Sylvan Township Line
- Island Lake Rd between Werkner Rd and Stofer Rd
- Hadley Rd between Lyndon Township Line and County Line
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The non-motorized pathway construction is expected to take approximately two days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
