WHERE: 8 Mile Rd between Lemen Rd and US-23 in Northfield Township
WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: On Monday, August 18, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will be performing drainage work on 8 Mile Rd between Lemen Rd and US-23 in Northfield Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane restrictions. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The road improvements are expected to be completed in approximately three days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
