WHERE: Intersection of Park Rd and Zeeb Rd in Scio Township
WHY: Soil borings (collecting pavement and soil samples)
BACKGROUND: On Monday, May 4, 2026, a geotechnical consultant working on behalf of WCRC will begin collecting existing roadway pavement and underlying soils information at the intersection of Park Rd and Zeeb Rd in Scio Township. This is part of the design process for the proposed 2028 roundabout project.
As the boring (drilling) is performed, the road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures.
The collection of this field data is expected to take five days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
