WHY: Permit work
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Colliers Energy on behalf of MDOT will begin permit work on Carpenter Rd between Central Blvd and Washtenaw Ave (M-17) in Pittsfield Township.
The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to intermittent lane closures. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The permit work is expected to take approximately two days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
