Good Afternoon,
What a wintery day today! Thank you to everyone for your efforts yesterday, today and throughout this weekend to keep our road system safe for our friends, family and neighbors.
This week saw a further reduction in Michigan’s COVID case numbers and yesterday the state announced that high school contact sports can start back again on Monday, February 8. Michigan also surpassed 1 million COVID vaccines administered this week!
This is all good news but we are not out of the woods yet. As we head into this Super Bowl weekend, consider celebrating a little differently this year. Please continue to avoid gatherings, wear your mask, practice social distancing and wash your hands frequently. You can still eat lots of Super Bowl food, drink a few beverages and cheer loudly for your favorite team. Just do so safely.
