Our operations crews are continuing to take advantage of the unusually warm weather and chip away at some of our larger maintenance projects. This week they were able to complete culvert replacements on Huron River Dr between N. Territorial Rd and Chamberlin Rd in Dexter & Webster Townships, as well as on Geddes Rd between Prospect Rd and Harris Rd in Superior Township. Thanks for all the hard work!
During the working session, our communications team provided a presentation regarding the WCRC Fix It website and walked the WCRC Board through a tutorial on submitting a request ticket. WCRC Fix It website/app is an excellent tool for our organization as it provides residents with a platform to make requests and receive feedback. It triages and streamlines the requests that are received, and it helps track the work we perform. We share the data collected from this platform with our townships and Washtenaw County BOC, which helps improve our transparency and credibility.
During the board meeting, Mark McCulloch, Sr. Project Manager – Permits, was recognized for his 25 years of service with WCRC. Mark joined the road commission in 1999 as a civil engineer and made his way to Sr. Project Manager in 2014. His years of service showcase his knowledge, dedication, creativity, and commitment to our organization and community. Thank you for your many years of hard work, Mark!
