WHY: Mill & resurfacing
BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended the intermittent lane restrictions by six days on Werkner Rd between Stofer Rd and Island Lake Rd in Lyndon Township for mill and resurfacing.
The work started on Thursday, May 21, 2026, and will now be completed in approximately two weeks, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions.
