WHERE: Smythe Rd between Pleasant Lake Rd and Wingate Rd in Sharon Township
WHY: Drainage work
BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended intermittent lane restrictions by seven days on Smythe Rd between Pleasant Lake Rd and Wingate Rd in Sharon Township for drainage work.
The work started on Monday, June 1, 2026, and will now take approximately two weeks to complete, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
