WHY: Milling & resurfacing
BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended the intermittent lane restrictions by three days on Holmes Rd between Ford Rd and US-12 (Michigan Ave) in Ypsilanti Township for milling and resurfacing.
The work started on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, and will now take approximately two weeks to complete, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
