WHY: Permit work: utility work
BACKGROUND: DTE Energy has extended the intermittent lane restrictions for permit work by seven months on Tuttle Hill Rd between Willis Rd and Textile Rd in Augusta and Ypsilanti Townships.
The permit work started on Monday, March 9, 2026, and will now take approximately nine months to complete, weather permitting and contractor scheduling.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
