BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended the intermittent lane restrictions by three weeks at the intersection of Textile Rd and Huron River Dr in Ypsilanti Township for permit work.
The work started on Saturday, June 27, 2026, and will now take approximately five weeks to complete, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
