December 3: Positive Cases

By December 3, 2021COVID-19 Updates

Good afternoon,

Unfortunately, we learned today that two of our employees have tested positive for COVID-19. Both people are assigned to the Administration Building, but the cases are unrelated. Due to privacy laws, we cannot identify the employees who tested positive for the virus.

We have performed an investigation and no employee was determined to have had “close contact” with either of these individuals.

This is another reminder that COVID-19 still exists and is highly contagious. As always, we will continue to follow state law, county guidelines and MIOSHA rules when it comes to this pandemic. If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, test positive for COVID-19 or have had “close contact” with a COVID-19 positive person, do not report to work. Contact your supervisor and Nicole Peterson, (734) 255-0818, immediately for further instruction.

Please remember that employees are required to follow all work-related safety protocols, including wearing a mask while inside a WCRC facility whenever an employee leaves their assigned workplace, practicing social distancing and frequent hand washing. In-person meetings (with appropriate social distancing) and vehicle sharing are allowed but all participants must be masked.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your supervisor, Nicole or me.

Take care and stay safe,

Sheryl
