Good afternoon,
As we steam ahead toward the holidays and some potential winter weather, it’s a good time to talk about safety.
This month’s safety topic is all about avoiding slips and trips during the winter. Cold temperatures can lead to icy walking surfaces, so please use caution as you move about on sidewalks and through parking lots. If some white stuff heads our way, please remember to enter/exit your vehicles carefully and always take the time to clear off steps/walkways.
This week, we received our new Class 3 safety vest samples. We intend to bring these samples to the various crews to gather sizing information in the coming weeks.
Lastly, there’s still time to nominate a co-worker for the Q4 Recognizing Our Workforce (ROW) award (Click here for the nomination form). We will randomly select winners from the nominees in early January.
