Daytime Traffic Signal Work: Intersection of Carpenter Rd & Center Valley Dr (Pittsfield Twp)

WHEN: Wednesday, May 15, 2024

WHERE: Intersection of Carpenter Rd and Center Valley Dr in Pittsfield Township

WHY: Traffic signal work

BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, May 15, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will begin traffic signal work at the intersection of Carpenter Rd and Center Valley Dr in Pittsfield Township.

During this work, the traffic signal will be dark and the intersection should be treated like a 4-way stop. WCRC will place temporary stop signs for motorists using the intersection.

The road will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to the dark signal. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.

The signal work is expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
