WHERE: Pleasant Lake Rd between Sharon Hollow Rd and Smythe Rd in Sharon Township
WHY: Drainage improvements
BACKGROUND: Starting today, Thursday, April 7, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Pleasant Lake Rd between Sharon Hollow Rd and Smythe Rd in Sharon Township for drainage improvements. The work is being completed ahead of a road resurfacing project planned to begin later this spring.
The road will reopen at the end of each day and remain open until work resumes the following morning.
The work is expected to take approximately two weeks to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for school buses, emergency responders and people who live or work within the work zone.
