WHEN: Starting Monday, August 19, 2019
WHERE: The following roads in Scio and Webster Townships:
- Zeeb Road between Huron River Drive and Joy Road
- Joy Road between Zeeb Road and Webster Church Road
- Mast Road between Joy Road and North Territorial Road
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: Starting Monday, August 19, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the following roads in Scio and Webster Townships for preventative maintenance:
- Zeeb Road between Huron River Drive and Joy Road
- Joy Road between Zeeb Road and Webster Church Road
- Mast Road between Joy Road and North Territorial Road
The road improvements are expected to take approximately two days. The road will be reopened to traffic in the evenings until the work is completed. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is complete, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
