WHERE: Wagner Rd between Ann Arbor-Saline Rd and Liberty Rd in Lodi and Scio Townships
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: Starting on Monday, September 27, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Wagner Rd between Ann Arbor-Saline Rd and Liberty Rd in Lodi and Scio Townships for a preventative maintenance chip seal project.
The work on this road is expected to be completed by the end of this week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the chip seal is completed, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles. WCRC hopes to return later in the week to apply a fog seal application under lane restrictions.
The intersection of Wagner Rd and Waters Rd remains closed during this work. A separate advisory will be sent out when the intersection reopens.
