WHERE: The following roads in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships –
- Textile Road between Ann Arbor-Saline Road and Maple Road in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships
- Hereford Road between Wagner Road and the Lodi Township Line
- Lodi Lane between Weber Road and Hereford Road in Lodi Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the following roads in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships for preventative maintenance:
- Textile Road between Ann Arbor-Saline Road and Maple Road in Lodi and Pittsfield Townships
- Hereford Road between Wagner Road and the Lodi Township Line in Lodi Township
- Lodi Lane between Weber Road and Hereford Road in Lodi Township
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is complete, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
