WHERE: Stein Rd between the end of the pavement and Maple Rd in Scio Township
WHY: Limestone resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, September 12, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Stein Rd between the end of the pavement and Maple Rd in Scio Township during daytime hours to perform limestone resurfacing.
The road will re-open at the end of each workday and remain open until work resumes the following morning.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately three business days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for emergency services and any residents who live or work within the closure limits.
