WHERE: Grove Rd bridge over I-94 on the border of Ypsilanti Township and the City of Ypsilanti
WHY: Permit work – Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission
BACKGROUND: Starting Wednesday, September 1, 2021, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission will close the Grove Rd bridge over I-94 on the border of Ypsilanti Township and the City of Ypsilanti. The bridge will be reopened to traffic each evening and a detour will be posted.
The daytime road closures are expected to be in place through the end of this week. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
This is part of the Washtenaw County Parks and Recreation Commission’s non-motorized improvement project underway on Grove Rd. The entire project is expected to be completed by mid-October.
