WHERE: Curtis Road between Plymouth Road and 6 Mile Rd in Salem and Superior Townships
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, August 1, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Curtis Road between Plymouth Road and 6 Mile Road in Salem and Superior Townships for preventative maintenance.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is complete, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
