WHERE: Cavanaugh Lake Rd between Pierce Rd and the City of Chelsea in Sylvan Township
WHY: Drainage improvements
BACKGROUND: On Monday, July 25, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Cavanaugh Lake Rd between Pierce Rd and the City of Chelsea is Sylvan Township for drainage improvements. This work is being completed ahead of a road resurfacing project planned for later this year.
The road will reopen at the end of each day and remain open until work resumes the following morning.
The work is expected to take approximately one week to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for residents and property owners who live or work within the work zone.
