WHERE: Carpenter Road between the City of Milan border and Textile Road in York and Pittsfield Townships
WHY: Preventative maintenance – chip seal
BACKGROUND: On Monday, August 12, 2019, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Carpenter Road between the City of Milan border and Textile Road in York and Pittsfield Townships for preventative maintenance.
The road improvements are expected to take approximately one day. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Once the project is complete, drivers are advised to lower their speeds to 35 mph while the stone settles.
