WHERE: Bemis Rd between Carpenter Rd and Munger Rd in Pittsfield Township
WHY: Limestone resurfacing
BACKGROUND: On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Bemis Rd between Carpenter Rd and Munger Rd in Pittsfield Township during daytime hours to perform limestone resurfacing.
The road will re-open at the end of each workday and remain open until work resumes the following morning.
The road improvements are expected to take a week to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Access will be maintained for emergency services and any residents who live or work within the closure limits.
