WHERE: 7 Mile Road between Angle Road and Napier Road in Salem Township
WHY: Preventative maintenance – fog seal
BACKGROUND: Starting Wednesday, September 16, 2020, WCRC will apply a fog seal on 7 Mile Road between Angle Road and Napier Road in Salem Township.
Fog seal is another thin layer of liquid asphalt placed on top of a recent chip seal that helps to seal in the chips and further protect the pavement.
This work will be conducted with a combination of daytime road closures and lane restrictions to allow the fog seal to cure. WCRC will also finish its fog seal work Gotfredson Road.
This work is expected to be completed by Thursday, September 17. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
