WHY: Concrete repairs
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, September 30, 2020, a contractor for Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will start concrete sidewalk repairs at the intersection of Carpenter Road and Ellsworth Road in Pittsfield Township.
The intersection will not be closed to traffic, but delays are likely due to daytime lane closures on Carpenter Road and Ellsworth Road. WCRC encourages motorists, emergency services and others to use an alternate route.
The repairs are expected to take approximately 3 days. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
Sidewalks at the southeast corner of the intersection will be closed during this work.
