WHY: Placement of temporary structure after an incident on US-23
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) re-opened the Joy Rd Bridge over US-23 in Ann Arbor & Northfield Townships.
MDOT placed a temporary structure over US-23 and plans to return during the 2023 construction season to place a permanent structure.
