WHY: Bridge Repairs
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, July 25, 2017, a Contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) REOPENED Huron River Drive between Chalmers Drive and Hogback Road in Ann Arbor Township.
Work completed during the construction project included concrete deck repairs, new bridge railing, deck joint replacement, limited new road approach to the bridge, stream erosion repairs, sanitary sewer maintenance, new guardrail and an epoxy overlay applied to the concrete deck surface.
The Washtenaw County Road Commission offers our sincere thanks to the area residents, motorists, postal services, emergency services and school districts who displayed a great deal of patience during the closure of Huron River Drive.
