WHY: Bridge Rehabilitation
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, July 6, 2022, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close both the E. Delhi Rd Bridge over the Huron River in Scio Township AND the Maple (Foster) Rd Bridge over the Huron River in Ann Arbor Township for bridge rehabilitation.
The E. Delhi Rd Bridge is expected to be closed for approximately 2 weeks. The Maple (Foster) Rd Bridge is expected to be closed for approximately 12 weeks. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The bridges will be closed to ALL traffic during rehabilitation – including river traffic and non-motorized users. ALL traffic will be required to follow the posted detour or seek an alternate route.
