WHY: Bridge replacement
BACKGROUND: On Monday, October 5, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the Sharon Valley Rd Bridge, over River Raisin, between Sharon Hollow Rd and Meyers Rd in Sharon Township.
The bridge replacement work will take approximately twelve months to complete. During the bridge replacement project, the bridge will remain closed to all traffic.
Motorists are advised to seek alternate routes.
