WHERE: Maple (Foster) Road over the Huron River, between Huron River Drive and Stein Road in Ann Arbor Township
WHY: Detailed bridge inspection
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, September 13, 2018, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will TEMPORARILY close the Maple (Foster) Road Bridge over the Huron River to perform a detailed inspection of the truss bridge. The bridge is located between Huron River Drive and Stein Road in Ann Arbor Township. The temporary road closure will remain in effect for one day, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. on September 13, 2018.
The suggested alternative route for this temporary bridge closure is Huron River Drive to North Delhi Road to Joy Road.
Please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
