WHY: Bridge replacement
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 22, 2026, a contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the Main St Bridge between Jennings Rd and Tillman Ct in Northfield Township for a bridge replacement.
The work is expected to be completed in late October. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. WCRC encourages drivers to use the detour.
