WHY: Bridge replacement
BACKGROUND: On Tuesday, July 7, 2026, a contractor working on behalf of the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close the Main St Bridge between Jennings Rd and Tillman Ct in Northfield Township for a bridge replacement.
The work is expected to be completed in mid-November. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. WCRC encourages drivers to use the detour.
