WHERE: Huron River Drive between Chalmers Drive and Hogback Road in Ann Arbor Township
WHY: Bridge Repairs
BACKGROUND: On Monday, April 10, 2017, a contractor for the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will CLOSE Huron River Drive between Chalmers Drive and Hogback Road in Ann Arbor Township to perform repairs to the Huron River Drive over the Pittsfield-Ann Arbor Drain.
The road will be closed to all traffic during the bridge repair work. The WCRC expects the work to be complete by the end of July 2017. However, please be advised that due to weather conditions, all dates are tentative and subject to change.
The posted DETOUR for this closure is Huron Parkway to Geddes Road to Dixboro Road to Hogback Road. Please be advised that bridge repairs on Superior Road between Geddes Road and Huron River Drive will occur concurrently, with traffic lane reductions.
