WHERE: Bridge Rd Bridge at the Ford Lake Dam in Ypsilanti Township
WHY: Preventative bridge maintenance
BACKGROUND: On Monday, June 28, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will close the Bridge Rd Bridge at the Ford Lake Dam in Ypsilanti Township for a preventative bridge maintenance project.
The bridge will be closed to ALL traffic, including motorists, bicyclists and pedestrians.
The bridge is expected to reopen by the end of July. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
