Good morning,
Another week in August has flown by and thankfully after a stormy last week, we are back to business as usual with our many, many road projects.
However, we recognize that the past 18 months have been anything but usual. During this time, we have completed a phenomenal number of projects, responded to a wide range of weather events and continued performing routine maintenance on a daily basis. All of this in the midst of an ongoing pandemic.
As a thank you for all of your efforts, especially with all the additional protocols of the pandemic, the senior leadership team and I would like to give every employee a WCRC jacket this fall. Employees can choose from a logo’d heavy weight or lighter-weight high-vis coat or a grey soft-shell jacket. Next week, we will send out an order form to everyone. Those with computers will get the order form electronically and those without computer access will place an order with their foreman via a paper form. We are very pleased to offer this thank you gift to everyone as a small token of our appreciation.
We all know that the pandemic isn’t over yet, but we want to thank you for your efforts so far.
