August 13 – Space Is Safe

Good Afternoon,

Unfortunately, we learned today that one of our employees has tested positive for COVID-19. This person was assigned to a specific construction project and has been reporting directly to that jobsite. Due to privacy laws, we cannot identify the employee who tested positive for the virus.

Employees who were within “close contact” of this person in the past few days have already been notified of the potential exposure and are in contact with the Washtenaw County Health Department. Remember, “close contact” means being closer than 6 feet for more than 15 minutes from an individual who tested positive for COVID-19.

Once again, I want to remind you that “Space is Safe”. No one wants to contract this virus, and no one wants to be asked to quarantine. The best way to keep yourself safe is to keep your distance from each other, wash your hands and wear your mask/face covering.

If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, have had “close contact” with a COVID-19 positive person or have traveled internationally, do not report to work. Contact your supervisor and Nicole Peterson, (734) 255-0818, immediately.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your supervisor, Nicole or me.

Thank you and take care,

Sheryl
