Good morning,
Between keeping up with our unpaved roads, hosting a board meeting and gearing up for summer hours, it has not felt like a three-day week! With that being said, I would like to remind our organization that the Employee Engagement Survey, presented by Gallup & our Human Resources team, was sent out this Monday. I encourage you to participate in this survey, as doing so will contribute to creating a more positive and engaging workplace.
In this week’s board meeting, agreements were approved for both Augusta and York Townships, a bid was accepted for our 2023 gasoline & diesel fuels and the construction contract for our New Main Yard Material Storage Building was approved. Additionally, WCRC’s fitness reimbursement policy was reviewed and updated by our board. This policy update will provide WCRC employees with $450 of potential reimbursement, rather than the previous $300. This policy update also allows employees to apply this reimbursement to sport classes/ leagues!
Lastly, I am excited to announce our ROW award winners for the 1st quarter of 2023! Winners were randomly selected from the 21 nominations that we received. Congratulations to Jeff Grau, District 1 Group Leader, and James Hui, Project Manager – Design & Construction, for being selected. Both these individuals were nominated due to their willingness to help others. Thank you to everyone who submitted a nomination. Please continue to recognize the hard work done by your co-workers. Our next drawing will be for Q2 in July!
