April 13: Summer hours & Virtual Public Meetings!

Good morning,

As expected, our first week of summer hours has been a busy one! With the recent beautiful and sunny weather, our operations department has been tirelessly working to maintain our unpaved roads. After the wet spring we experienced, it’s been a challenging task. Thank you to our maintenance crews for all the work you have done and continue to do!

On another note, later today our communications and engineering departments will host our first Virtual Public Meeting of the 2023 construction season. These meetings are a great way to inform the public of our upcoming construction projects and provide them with a platform to voice their concerns and ask questions. These meetings can be challenging, but thanks to the shared effort between all our departments, we’re getting off to a great start!

As a reminder, the employee engagement survey that started on April 3, will be closing Monday, April 17. If you have not already done so, I encourage you to take a moment to fill out this short survey that will provide our organization with necessary feedback to create a more positive and engaging atmosphere here at WCRC. If you have already filled out your survey, thank you!

Looks like we will hit every season in the next few days – welcome to Michigan spring. I hope you all enjoy your weekend.

Take care & stay safe,

Sheryl
