Construction is moving along on the Whitmore Lake Rd resurfacing project, located between Joy Rd and N. Territorial Rd in Northfield Township.
Over the past few days, the contractor was able to mill the existing surface of the road. Currently, the contractor is paving the new road surface. We expect to complete paving by next week. Traffic is being maintained in both directions with lane restrictions. The road is open to traffic, but motorists should expect delays. The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will continue to send out updates as the project progresses.
