On Friday, May 1, 2020, WCRC and its contractor reopened Willis Road between Bunton Road and Rawsonville Road in Augusta Township after placing the first of two planned layers of asphalt in the road resurfacing project. The final layer of asphalt will be placed later this summer, once approach work at the railroad tracks has been completed.
The road will be temporarily closed again at that time in order to place the final layer and a road advisory will be issued ahead of this closure.
