WHERE: Shield Road and Dan Hoey Road intersections at Baker Road in Scio Township & City of Dexter
WHY: DTE Gas line relocation
BACKGROUND: DTE Gas is planning the following road closures for gas line relocation ahead of this summer’s Baker Road Roundabout project.
- Shield Road at Baker Road will be closed from approximately 7 p.m. on Monday, June 4 to approximately 7 a.m. on Tuesday, June 5.
- Dan Hoey Road at Baker Road will be closed from approximately 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 5 to approximately 7 a.m. on Wednesday, June 6.
- The DTE Gas contractor is scheduled to work from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the rest of the week (Wednesday, June 6 – Sunday, June 10) to help minimize traffic delays during lane restrictions.
However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
A detour will be posted for all through traffic.
