On July 23, 2026, The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) began the culvert replacement project on Judd Rd between Bunton Rd and Tuttle Hill Rd in Augusta Township. The project is now complete, and the road has been re-opened to traffic.
WCRC was able to perform this project thanks to a Stormwater Grant in partnership with the Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner’s Office and the Township.

WHY: Culvert replacement
BACKGROUND: On Wednesday, July 22, 2026, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Judd Rd between Bunton Rd and Tuttle Hill Rd in Augusta Township for a culvert replacement.
The work is expected to take approximately three days to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.
The road will be closed to all through traffic. WCRC encourages drivers to use the detour.
