BACKGROUND: The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) has extended intermittent lane restrictions on the Ellis Rd between Textile Rd and Michigan Ave in Ypsilanti Township for forestry work by two weeks.
The work started on Monday, March 2, 2026, and will now take approximately five weeks to complete, subject to weather changes.
Although the road will remain open, delays are likely to be due to lane restrictions. Motorists should consider alternative routes.
