The Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) is improving safety at the intersection of Earhart Rd, Old Earhart Rd and Goss Rd in Ann Arbor Township.
The intersection is now an all-way stop, also known as a four-way stop. The intersection of Earhart Rd, Old Earhart Rd and Goss Rd in Ann Arbor Township was recently converted from a two-way stop with Earhart Rd traffic having the right-of-way.
Based upon the Michigan Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MMUTCD), this intersection met the criteria to become a multi-way stop. The modification will improve the safety of the intersection. Motorists are reminded of the need for additional caution through the intersection since the change has been implemented.
