County-wide road millages have become an important funding source for improving roads in Washtenaw County.

The first county-wide road millages were levied by the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners in 2014 and 2015. In 2016, voters approved a four-year, 0.5 mill roads and non-motorized millage which was renewed in August 2020.

In the past 9 years, county millages have helped WCRC  improve more than 500 miles of county roads but there is still a lot of work to do.
