Road & Lane Closure: Earhart Rd (Ann Arbor Twp)

WHERE: Earhart Rd between Plymouth Rd and M-14 in Ann Arbor Township

WHY: Milling & resurfacing

BACKGROUND:   On Wednesday October 1, 2025, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) will close Earhart Rd between Plymouth Rd and Whitehall Dr in Ann Arbor Township for milling & resurfacing. Due to the resurfacing work, there will also be intermittent lane closures on Earhart Rd between Whitehall Dr and M-14.

The entirety of the work is expected to take approximately one month to complete. However, all dates are tentative and subject to change due to weather conditions.

Earhart Rd will be closed to all traffic between Plymouth Rd and Whitehall Dr for approximately 1 week. Access for business drives along Earhart will utilize Whitehall as the detour. Intermittent lane closures and delays should be expected throughout the construction zone, alternate detours around the construction zone are recommended.
