On Friday, December 2, 2016, the Washtenaw County Road Commission will CLOSE two culverts on Moon Road over unnamed tributaries to the Saline River, due to extensive structural deterioration. The culverts are located between Saline-Milan Road and Willow Road in Sections 20 & 21 of York Township. The recommended closures of these structures were determined during a recent culvert inspection.
The posted DETOUR for these culvert closures will include Saline-Milan Road and Stony Creek Road. The road will be closed by using concrete barrier and barricades. A schedule to replace the culverts and reopen Moon Road at these locations is undetermined at this time.
