WHY: Live power line across the road
BACKGROUND: On Thursday, August 12, 2021, the Washtenaw County Road Commission (WCRC) closed Austin Rd between Sharon Hollow Rd and Grossman Rd in Manchester Township due to a downed power line running across the road.
The road is impassable at this time. Do not approach the wire, it is live. The road will reopen once the utility company can address the issue.
